The Magewell Pro Convert IP to HDMI is the first product in Magewell’s new generation of multi-format IP decoders, launched at ISE 2026 in Barcelona. The direct successor to the widely-deployed Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI, it delivers a significant capability leap — decoding up to four simultaneous IP streams from a wide range of protocols and displaying them on a single QHD HDMI output using an integrated multiviewer. Where its predecessor decoded a single NDI stream, this new device accepts NDI, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, HLS, MPEG-TS and Zixi simultaneously — delivering hardware multiviewer capability, broader protocol support and a more capable web interface in the same compact, PoE-powered form factor. For broadcast, ProAV, security and education deployments where flexibility, reliability and hardware simplicity are non-negotiable, it is the most versatile HDMI decoder Magewell has produced.

- Single View — QHD Decode: Decodes one IP stream at up to 2560×1440 (QHD) at 60fps in H.264, H.265, SpeedHQ or MPEG2 format — delivering the highest output resolution available on the device for full-screen single-source monitoring with maximum image quality.
- Integrated Hardware Multiviewer — Up to 4 Streams: Decodes and displays up to four simultaneous IP streams on a single HDMI output without any additional hardware — in dual side-by-side, picture-in-picture or quad 2×2 layouts. Each layout is selectable via the onboard rotary dial or web GUI.
- Broad Protocol Support: Accepts NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX, NDI HX2, NDI HX3, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, HLS, MPEG-TS over UDP/RTP and Zixi — covering every major IP video protocol used in broadcast, streaming, ProAV and security environments from a single device.
- Zixi Integration: Receives Zixi-managed streams directly — the first Pro Convert decoder with native Zixi support. Enables the device to serve as a decode endpoint for managed broadcast contribution networks without additional Zixi hardware or software licences at the receive location.
- Multi-Format Audio Decode: Decodes AAC, MP3, AC3, Opus and G.711 audio with 8-channel output embedded in the HDMI signal — covering the full range of audio codecs found in NDI, streaming and broadcast IP workflows.
- New Rotary Control Dial: Onboard rotary encoder allows on-site menu navigation and layout selection without a connected computer — essential for deployments in display locations, equipment rooms and venues where web GUI access is not immediately available.
- Improved Web GUI with Live Preview: Real-time video preview via live stream or MJPEG thumbnail directly in the browser — enabling remote signal verification, format checking and troubleshooting without visiting the device location.
- NDI 6.2 Support: Compatible with NDI 6.2 — fully integrated with current NDI production infrastructure, Control Hub management and network discovery.

- PTZ Camera Control: Supports PTZ camera control via the web GUI — enabling remote pan, tilt and zoom of PTZ sources feeding into the decoder without a separate control system.
